Customer cards are not being saved when tapping "Pay with credit card", preventing transactions from being completed

When paying without a pre-saved credit card (no card selected), entering the card information and selecting the option to save credit card details does not save the card. The card does not appear in the available credit cards list when updating payment methods. Attempting to pay prompts you to re-enter your card information again, which will not save the details.
In order for a payment to successfully be processed, a customer must tap the "Update" button to update their saved credit cards first, THEN tap "Pay with credit card". This is clunky and does not encourage quick or one-time transactions.
