Thanks for your suggestion. If we could set up 2 categories for the same item that would work great, but we can't. We would have to double up our items list, double prices changes, double management of everything. Don't see how this could be an efficient and sustainable solution for us.

Guylaine Gagnon: Got it, so you lean toward a 100% automatic discount to app users? It's not a special discount for specific item when purchased on the app? Would you maybe consider having 1-2 items to test how people react to it? Also we are adding a new enterprise plan that is kind of doing similar behavior you are asking... Thank you so much!

hi Guylaine Gagnon We actually added automatic discounts to the app lately. For this to happen I would add a category or item specifically for the app (not showing in the Weebly or store) and then use the Automatic discount for this specific category / item:

Roy Ganor: How does this work? I currently have auto discounts set up for some items in Square, it shows up in my POS and my Square online, but not in the app.

Roy Ganor: Awesome it does work now! Just a quick note, it would be even better if there was an indication that there is a discount on the items. The point is to encourage customers to buy those items :) I specifically name my discount as what the sale is "Clearance" "Overstocked Sale" etc,. Anyways just a thought, as you can see on Square Online its very well indicated with the discount name, it doesn't show the actual discount, just the name and that's enough.
